We began the day with a bus trip to Pembrokeshire starting at 8.30pm and stopping, first at Newgale and then at Solva. There were 50+ travellers and two walks were arranged one of 10 miles and one of 6, both ending at the city of St. Davids, the smallest in Britain.

The Pembrokeshire Coast path runs for 186 miles passing 58 beaches and 14 harbours. Fortunately the group only walk the 10 miles from Newgale to St Davids but this is considered to be one of the finest streches along the path.

Although it had stopped raining, the weather was very dull and overcast at the start of both walks

Solva, a picturesque harbour and the start of the 6 mile walk
St Davids Cathederal, the end of the walks.

Saint Nons last stop before the end of the walks

St Davids in the sunshine.....end of the walks.
