Gelligaer Ramblers
No Hill Too High
Chartist Caves 7th March 2010
A Group of 39 combined walkers from both Gelligaer and North Gwent met at the village of Trefil for a walk to the Chartist caves. Weather was fine dry and bright, but a keen wind could be felt. An 8.5 mile circular walk was scheduled, led by Robert Short from North Gwent. Spectacular views of the Beacons and surrounding area were the order of the day, we even saw some adders basking in the sun.
