Gelligaer Ramblers weekend away staying in the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester

Dinner on Friday evening followed by a social night and even a game of bingo.

Two walks were undertaken on Saturday both leaving from the Roman ruins close to Cirencester and both dodging the showers.

The Mill Inn, Withington.  Fortunately, we were sidetracked into this lovely country inn, a fabulous welcome and a refreshing rest. We would recommend this hostelry to all who are passing through the area.

After an excellent dinner and a quiz on Saturday evening, following breakfast on Sunday some of us walked........................

....some of us slower than others......

........and some of us visited the Tall Ships Festival at Gloucester Quays on our way home (didn’t want to pay the bridge tolls).
